David P. Marlin, President and Designated Broker
Mr. Marlin has been specializing in business sales and acquisitions for over 25 years. He has assisted hundreds of parties complete successful transactions, and has performed numerous business valuations in a wide range of industries. He is a licensed broker in the states of Oregon and Washington.
Since establishing the Marlin Group in 1998, Mr. Marlin has been instrumental in the consolidation of the Internet Service (ISP) market throughout the Pacific Northwest and California.
At the same time he has established the top Restaurant and Bar Brokerage in Oregon, providing sales, valuations, expert testimony and consulting for Food & Beverage industry clients and customers throughout the state.
From 1982 through 1997, Mr. Marlin was an associate broker for IBA, an independent business brokerage firm. Throughout his tenure at IBA, Mr. Marlin was consistently a top producer for the Portland, Oregon firm with a sales staff of 26.
Mr. Marlin also is a co-owner of the Maresh Vineyard Red Barn Tasting Room and the Maresh Vineyard Retreat in Dundee, Oregon.
Mr. Marlin received his Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
